In Mario Kart Wii, Wario is one of the Large-sized racers, due to his overweight size. During the game, Wario can only drive in his three main karts, but once the player completes all cups in either the Nitro or Retro Grand Prix cups in 150cc, Wario can choose from Bowser's Tyrant, Waluigi's Zipper, R.O.B.'s ROB-BLS and Mario's Shooting Star, before gaining access to every other kart after completing all Mirror Mode cups. Wario's personal course in the Special Cup is Wario Stadium, which heavily differs from the Mario Kart 64 track featuring more ramps to jump and even some fiery Podoboo Cogs.
His karts excel in top speed and weight, whilst most other stats are balanced or below average. In Mario Kart DS, Wario's main karts are the Brute, Standard WR, and the Dragonfly. He gets his own personal course in the Special Cup, Wario Colosseum. Wario's personal kart is the Wario Car, which excels in speed and weight but lowers acceleration. In Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Wario's default team partner is Waluigi. In Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Wario is a heavyweight racer with good speed and weight, but low acceleration, sharing stats with Donkey Kong. He gets his own personal course, Wario Stadium. In Mario Kart 64, Wario is a heavyweight racer.
