The only major thing that's changed is an upgrade to Windows 10 at the end of July I haven't installed any hardware onto the machine aside from temporary USB devices. They're not exactly AAA titles (except the later Final Fantasy ones maybe), but they're all great rpgs.Hello all, I've been getting an increasing number of BSODs with 'DRIVERPOWERSTATEFAILURE' tags over the last few days. Some other JRPGs include the Final Fantasy Series, Grandia 2, Suikoden series, and they all have amazing stories. You probably can't run Mafia 3, but you could probably run Mafia 2, and the story in that is pretty cool. it is a shooter, so I'm not sure if you would enjoy that.
I'm not sure if you can run Bioshock Infinite, but the first two in the series have been praised for their story. It's a AAA title and fairly recent, but it's definitely worth a shot. The Mass Effect series has good reviews and a great story (albeit slightly linear) and you might be able to run it. The witcher series is also highly praised and although I don't think you can run the latest installment, the first two should be perfectly playable.īrothers: a tale of two sons has a fantastic story, but it isn't an rpg, more like an adventure game. And fair warning, there is a lot of dialogue xD The combat is fun, skills are flashy and customizable, gear and stats are incremental, overall it's a good time :) I would recommend downloading the original japanese voices, shouldn't be too hard to find.
Depending on the difficulty you play the game at and the pace through which you read dialogue, the two games that have been translated can run 100+ hours. I don't know if your laptop is really built for AAA gaming, but I can still recommend some games that are rpgs with a good story.įirst off, check out the trails in the sky series.
